The in text YouTube ads can be quite annoying and sometimes don’t go away despite being crossed manually. YouTube Ads Free is an Opera extension, which removes these annoying ads. It removes popup ads on YouTube videos and optionally branded banners under the video (like the VEVO channels).
This extension has no elaborate settings and stats working immediately after being installed.
To remove VEVO banners, go to Menu-> Extensions-> Manage Extensions and select preferences by clicking on the drop down menu button next to YouTube Ads Free. From here, check the “Remove branded banner under the video (like one on VEVO channels)” check box.
