Download Mozilla Thunderbird 5 For Ubuntu 11.04, 10.10 & 10.04

Recently Mozilla Thunderbird 5 has been released with new features and a PPA for Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10 and 11.04 users. You can install Mozilla Thunderbird 5 from the below Terminal commands.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/thunderbird-next
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Among the many enhancements, Thunderbird 5 has a more robust Add-ons manager. Now you can get exclusive information about upcoming and suggested add-ons and check out Mozilla Thunderbird themes and personas for customization it.

Thunderbird has also made tab management easier by allowing drag and drop of tabs to separate windows.

Other new features include a better account creation wizard, size information for new attachments and plugins are loaded in RSS Feeds by default.
