How To Install Lubuntu 11.04 (Natty) [Video]

Lubuntu has grown into an interesting project over the last two years. More than 460 people signed up with the Lubuntu project on Launchpad. The objective of the Lubuntu project is to create a variant of Ubuntu, that uses LXDE, which is the Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment. Lubuntu System Requirements

A Pentium II or Celeron system with 128 MB of RAM (minimum requirements). This is a bottom-line configuration that may yield slow yet usable system with Lubuntu. It should be very much possible to install and run Lubuntu with even less memory, however, the result will likely not be suitable for practical use.

Update: Lubuntu received official recognition as a member of the Ubuntu community on 11th May, 2011. The new version of Lubuntu i.e. Lubuntu 11.10, is due for a release date of 13th, October, 2011
