How To Improve Camera Quality On HTC Sensation 4G For Sense 3.5 & CM7 ROMs

If you have an  HTC Sensation 4G , then you probably have one of the best camera quality already, but what if you can make it even better? Thanks to XDA-Developer “ErosizeD”, you can now mod your camera to record at higher bitrates, which according to the developer, is close to BlueRay DVD quality, with increased FPS stability. This mod currently supports ROMs based on Sense 3.0 or 3.5, as well as CyanogenMod 7 and MIUI.

Note: The developer has warned that the mod for CyanogenMod 7 is in an Alpha stage and maybe unstable, as it needs to be properly tested and reported by users. The mod has been reported to be working fine on the following ROMs:

  • Android Revolution HD 4.X.X ( sense 3.5 ).
  • HyperSensation ( CyanogenMOD ).

The mod for Sense based ROMs is packed in a zip file and is quite easily flashable using ClockworkMod recovery. However, installing the mod on the CM7 or MIUI ROM is required to be done manually with a modified Camera application for HTC Sensation.
