I previously reviewed two of the sensational HTC One series smartphones from the trio that was unveiled at he Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, including the Quad-Core HTC One X and HTC One V. Now let’s take a look at HTC One S, which seems as promising as the rest of the two sister devices. HTC One S is destined for the T-Mobile carrier in United States, whereas, it has already been set for release in some European and Asian countries in the first week of April. HTC One S has a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, (Snapdragon S4 Krait). It runs on 1GB of RAM, and has a durable and scratch-resistant ceramic unibody, with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Like most smartphone from HTC in the mid range, HTC One S has an 8 Megapixel Primary camera, as well as a secondary VGA camera. Furthermore, it offers 16 GB of internal memory and has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.
The Shape Factor
HTC One S boasts a slim design and is perhaps the thinnest HTC phone yet. It weighs just around 119.5 grams and has a 130.9 x 65 x 7.8 mm dimension. This 4.3 inch smartphone has a Slab form factor and is just 0.31 inches thick.
HTC One S Camera And Recording
Among other features, the camera of this device is perhaps the most noticeable feature that stands out from the rest. HTC One S allows you to capture videos and take snaps simultaneously. Moreover, the photo and video buttons are located on the same screen for user convenience. The camera starting time is also quite impressive, as it starts just under one second.
