Microsoft has released the Release Candidate for Windows Server 2012, (previously codenamed as Windows Server 8). This release came alongside the Windows 8 Release Preview. Windows Server 2012 is the successor of Windows Server 2008 R2. You can download this latest edition from the link given at of this post.

Windows Server 2012 is meant to offer a more scalable and multitenant-aware operating system that is optimized for cloud computing. According to Microsoft, Windows Server 2012 Release Candidate (RC), “Takes you beyond virtualization”.

Before you download Windows Server 2012, don’t forget to check out the following:

Installation: Windows Server 2012 Release Preview is available as an ISO, as well as a virtual hard drive (VHD). The ISO is available in the following languages: Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English, French, Russian, Spanish, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Swedish, and Turkish. Virtualization: As this is not a stable release, you may encounter some issues. It is advised that you should run this operating system in dual boot or as a virtual machine.
