Ping Multiple Hosts Periodically & Get Graphical Results With GPING

GPING (or Graphical Ping) is a portable network administrator’s tool which pings multiple specified hosts simultaneously and generates graphs. It periodically pings the added hosts over a user defined polling interval to help keep an eye on the activity of servers, routers, client computers and the like.

Enter hostname(s) and click Add Host to for periodic monitoring of the specified hostnames. Also select a timeframe from the drop down menu for checking the hosts (such as hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or annually).

You can also import a host name file from the button at the top or from the File drop down menu.

Click Start Gathering Data button (play icon at the bottom) to start getting information.

To  set default timeout, graph interval, polling interval, generate a log file, save and reset preferences, go to the Preferences menu.

Click on the graph button (next to time interval drop down menu), to displays the round trip time for each host in the list.
