Question : Dell Pcie Training Error : Embedded NIC 1
Hi,
I have a dell poweredge 1900 server , since I put in my room so I feel that the fans is too noisy and last week I have just replace all the fans in the server with silence fan (Arctic Cooling 9225), after I try to boot up the server in the boot up screen it prompt the following error:
PCIe Training Error : Embedded NIC 1
System halted!
Anyone know what is going on? or is there anyway to by pass the error checking?

The 1900 has a min of 4 PCI devices
1. Center Riser
2. Sideplane
3. Perc Card
4. System Board
you can use the Dell 32Bit – Diagnostics to test the onboard NIC’s
You can use intel PCI Nic without issue
