Citrix XenApp 5 Invalid access to memory location when accessing mapped drives

Question : Citrix XenApp 5 Invalid access to memory location when accessing mapped drives

I have an issue with a brand new installation of Citrix XenApp 5, what happens is all the mapped drives give an error “Invalid access to memory location” when you try to use them with the following setup:

Citrix Server OS: Windows Server 2008 x64 with System Locale set to Chinese (Simplified, PRC)
Citrix Version: XenApp 5

Citrix Client OS: Windows Vista
Citrix Client Plug-in: Version 11

I can make mapped drives function correctly if I use an older client (not an acceptable solution) or change every Client Vista machines System Locale to (Chinese Simplified, PRC) as well (also not acceptable solution).

We have to have the System Locale set to Chinese (Simplified, PRC) to support our software.

Can anyone tell me if this is a bug with XenApp 5 or if there is another way around this without setting every client’s System Locale to Chinese?

This is not an issue with Windows XP Clients even using Version 11 of the Citrix Plug-in.
