Backup Your System Drivers Easily With DriverBackup

System problems often occur due to driver compatibility conflicts. These issues can cause anything from minor functionality loss to even system crashes. It is also quite annoying when one has to download and install drivers after a fresh Windows installation. DriverBackup is a windows application that can backup your system drivers to be restored in case of an eventuality. It includes options to backup drivers for selected devices, which can be restored from a saved file. This is quite convenient to restore drivers for multiple devices within a short time frame without having to connect to the product’s website for downloading drivers.

It automatically detects and displays all  devices for which a driver backup can be created. From the main interface complete portability, digital signatures and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) information can be obtained for all device(s). To start the driver backup process, select some or all devices and click the Start Backup button.

In the next step, select a path to backup drivers to (e.g. a folder in the D drive) and specify any additional information that you wish to add to the backup file, (such as the description of the backup) and click on Start Backup.

To backup your drivers, click on the Restore button from the main interface, then click Open Backup, select the file from the backup folder and click Restore. This will restore your selected drivers for the respective device(s).
