Mobile Media Converter is a free video and audio converter for converting media formats such as MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, AVI, WMV, FLV,MOV and mobile formats like iPod, iPhone and PSP compatible MP4 video, 3GP and AMR, are supported. Moreover, you can remove and add new formats or devices through the internet.
It also acts as a YouTube downloader for directly downloading and converting YouTube videos. You also can trim your clips for ringtone creation or any other purpose and crop your videos for removing up/down black bars or other unwanted parts of the image. Additionally, embedded subtitles can be encoded onto the video for watching movies or shows with subtitles on devices that does not supports them. MMC has version for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux based operating systems.
To get started, drag files over to the main interface, select a format and click Convert to begin the encoding process.
This will start the conversion process. Mobile Media Converter is quite a lightweight and quick converter as compared to many software of its kind.
In case you are not sure about the supported format of your mobile device, select Add/Remove profile from Conversion drop down menu to add your mobile device preset into the format list. The same procedure can be used for locating other formats for video and audio conversion (other than mobile formats).
You can use the built in YouTube downloader to download and convert videos. To do so, enter the URL of the YouTube Video and the video URL and quality to start downloading process. Furthermore, you can queue YouTube videos in a list to download them later.
