Bytessence DuplicateFinder is an application for Windows based operating systems that uses Optimized detection algorithms and supports Unicode file names. It provides the choice to define specific filters for scanning file directories. Clone files after identification, can be removed, copied, moved or passed as a parameter to other programs.
To find duplicate files, select a folder and choose filter options. You can also choose to process sub-folder(s), process empty files, add exceptions and exclude specified file extensions from the scanning process.
To further refine the search, you can select additional filters such as a creation, access and modification time frame for the specific directory. Along with the option to set an attributes filter for read-only, system, archived, hidden and compressed files. File size and scan mode (e.g. match by file content, modification dates, etc) can also be selected.
All files will be scanned according to your selected criteria and directory settings.
You can delete, open, move, copy (and move) duplicate files and associate programs to execute the selected files with.
