Turn on those candles, prepare your Jack-o-lantern and dress up for the festivities, as Halloween is around the corner. In the wake of the upcoming Halloween festival, Hamed has once more come up with a stylish skin pack for Windows 7. This time he is not transforming your Windows 7 into Mac OS X, Windows 8 , iOS or some kind of “Mango”, instead he has created a transformation pack to give it the spooky Halloween look.
Note: Please bear in mind that such skin packs are difficult to uninstall and cannot be undone by using system restore. Before installing the Halloween Skin Pack, make sure that you have a backup for your computer. Also make sure that UAC (User Account Control) is disabled. For complete uninstallation instructions, see my post: How To Uninstall A Windows Transformation Pack Skin.
Step 1: Launch the setup wizard to start the installation process. In the first step you will be presented with general guidelines, Click Next to continue.
Step 2: Accept the terms and conditions.
Step 3: Select quick installation or click custom to remove some options such as disabling the option to set the Skin Pack page as your default home page (the start page for your browser). Setting the skin pack page as the default home page can help support the developer, since he may be earning ad revenue from his skin pack webpage or would like to receive more traffic and/or feedback. After selecting desired options, click Next to continue.
Step 4: Now, select installation options such as the UXTheme Patch, files and extra items. You may optionally uncheck some items before proceeding further. Select all or some of these options and click Install to start the installation of the skin pack.
Once this transformation pack is installed, your Windows 7 desktop will get the spooky Halloween look. See below screenshots for a demonstration.
