We have previously covered a number of skin packs for various Mac OS X versions including the Mac Snow Leopard Transformation Pack and Mac Lion Skin Pack. In the wake of the release of the latest Apple OS, Mac Mountain Lion, we now bring you the Mountain Lion Skin Pack. Like most of the skin packs covered at WML Cloud, this transformation pack has also been developed by none other than Hamed, (founder of skinpacks.com). You can install this theme by simply downloading and running a setup file for your respective operating system (Windows XP/7/8). For more details see instructions given below, followed by the download link for this Windows skin.
If you are a Mac user and are wondering what might be the benefit for this sin pack for you, then it is worth mentioning here that some people who require using another operating system at office (e.g. Windows 7), prefer making it appear more like their home operating system, such as Mac. This makes it easier for them to use the office OS, as it appears more like the UI that they are used to.
Disclaimer: Please note that such skin packs are difficult to remove and cannot be undone with Windows system restore. We (WML Cloud and its team members) will not be responsible if you face any kind of data loss or damages due to the installation of this skin pack.
Create A Backup: Before installing the Mac Mountain Lion Skin Pack, create a backup of your computer. If you don’t know how to create a backup, see this post: How To Backup and Restore Windows 7 .
Un-installation Instructions: For complete un-installation instructions, see this post: How To Uninstall A Windows Skin Pack.
Instructions
Step 1: As mentioned earlier, simply download the file that is appropriate for your operating system (e.g. 32-bit version of Windows 7), run the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 2: It is worth mentioning here that due to the free nature of this skin pack it attempts to install a toolbar. This is because this transformation pack is ad-supported. You can avoid installing this toolbar by unchecking the respective options during the installation process.
Step 3: This skin pack installs a few visual styles and third-party applications to transform the look of your Windows operating system. You can uncheck a few items such as screensavers, cursors, etc if you like. Once installation of this theme concludes, restart your computer for the changes to fully take effect.
The below images show how your computer will look like after the installation of this skin pack.
