Problem: command not valid in current execution space pix

Hi there,
I had initially 2 ASA firewall configured in active/active mode but later, we had to shutdown one of them; we shutdown the primary one … now there were 2 failovergroups (pix 2 which is on was active for failovergroup 2 and pix 1 which is off was active for failovergroup1) … now since i have access only to pix 2, it goes into failovergroup 2 via telnet … If i give the command “changeto context failovergroup1” or “changeto system” , it returns me a message saying “Command not valid in current execution space” … Can you suggest how can i overcome this error ?

Solution: command not valid in current execution space pix

Only if the context you telnet (or ssh) into is the admin context can you change (to system or other).  You can make any context the admin-context with the command of the same name (but only from system).
