Problem: Watchguard Firebox 550e Reason: header ‘Content-Type’ denied rule=’Default’ value='(none)’
I get this error when I go to a Sharepoint site through a watchguard http proxy.
Response denied by WatchGuard HTTP proxy.
Reason: header ‘Content-Type’ denied rule=’Default’ value='(none)’

How can I set up the proxy to allow this site through without opening up the (none) category, which kind of defeats the purpose of the proxy OR how do I modify the sharepoint site to not supply a “none” for Content-Type?

You are correct; other than using filteredHTTP for all the websites with known IP (not applicable to your situation) or allowing things through proxy; there is no other solution.
