The Battlefield 2042 beta is underway, but problems might be stopping you getting in
The Reddit page for Battlefield 2042 is currently littered with many complaints about the Unknown Error issue, although EA is working on a possible fix, which is related to so many people trying to access the open beta.
Battlefield 2042 Unknown Error
When you eventually manage to log in to the Battlefield 2042 beta and try to join a match, you might be met with a red error message box saying “Error, unknown error” in the top-right corner of your screen.
Battlefield 2042’s Lead Community Manager has acknowledged the Unknown Error reports on Twitter, asking players to “sit tight” as EA “scales up” all of its servers to meet demand from the Open Beta.
