Detailed below are all the steps you need to take to complete the Into the Abyss quest in Detiny 2.
Step 1. Speak with Ikora Rey in the Tower Bazaar.
This is the step you need to take to start the quest “Into the Abyss.” You can find Ikora and talk to her in the Tower. After that, you’ll need to complete the eight steps listed below.
Step 2. With a Void subclass equipped, defeat weakened targets, defeat targets with abilities, and cast your Super.
Some Void abilities weaken your targets. Weakened targets take increased damage, move more slowly, and fire less accurately.
To make progress, equip abilities, Aspects, Fragments, or gear with the Weaken keyword. For example, the Echo of Undermining Fragment adds a weaken effect to your Void grenades.
- Void Weaken 0%.
- Void abilities 0/40.
- Supers 0/3.
Step 3. Complete the Orrey Lost Sector on Nessus, and loot the Lost Sector chest.
The map will include an Exotic marker.You should not go there.The Orrey can be found at Artifact’s Edge. When you defeat the boss and loot the cache, you’ll receive a Geodesic Knot, which you must bring to Ikora.
Step 4. Purchase the Chaos Accelerant Aspect from Ikora in the Tower Bazaar.
If you already have the Chaos Accelerant Aspect, you can skip this and the next step.
Step 5. Meditate to learn your new subclass ability.
You can learn your new subclass skill by meditating. The meditation device is located in the Tower Bazaar, next to Ikora.
Step 6. Speak with Ikora Rey in the Tower Bazaar.
Step 7. Equip your Void subclass and new Exotic armor.
If you no longer have access to your Exotic, you can reclaim it from Collections.
Step 8. Complete the strike “Insight Terminus” on Nessus, with your Void subclass and new Exotic armor equipped.
You can select this Strike from the Nessus map. The Strike icon is at the very top.
Step 9. Speak to Banshee-44 in the Tower Courtyard.
Once you have completed the steps mentioned above, you will have successfully finished the Destiny 2 “Into the Abyss” questline. As a result, you will obtain the Exotic Contraverse Hold and the Positive Outlook. Congratulations on your achievements!
