Destiny 2 players are having a hard time with the Nightfall Strike this week

Nightfall Strike Destiny 2 hard

Many players in the Destiny 2 community appear to be having trouble with this week’s Nightfall Strike, The Ordeal.

For those who are unaware, each weekly reset introduces a new Nightfall Strike to the game. Participants can choose from five different difficulties before attempting it, with higher prizes awarded to fireteams who choose a higher handicap. This mode is often popular among players because they can keep trying it over and over again. With this in mind, the difficulty is often worth it because of the rewards, as long as you and your squad can finish it.

Unfortunately, this week’s offering appears to be somewhat more difficult than usual, as many players are already struggling on Legend difficulty. The NF boss room seems to be the main thing that players are having trouble with.

This week’s NF is gonna be an issue on GM difficulty from DestinyTheGame

The boss is hard enough on its own, but the fact that enemies keep coming back only makes things worse. It’s important to note that Battlegrounds activities are a little different from Strikes, so the fact that it became a Nightfall Strike may have caused players to expect a different level of difficulty.

Another issue is that because enemies can spawn indefinitely in the activity, the score multiplier is lower. Players are rewarded with a Pinnacle gear drop at the highest possible Power level if they reach a certain score threshold, and many are finding it difficult, despite the Nightfall’s various difficulty levels.

Although this is unlikely, these comments demonstrate how difficult the current Nightfall Strike is for most players. Unfortunately, Bungie is unlikely to fix this problem, so Guardians may have to wait until the next weekly reset to try again.
