Shenhe is one of the upcoming Genshin Impact characters. Coming from Liyue, he supposedly has ties to the Cloud Retainer and the Adepti, but does not have a vision of Anemo.
Shenhe release date in Genshin Impact
Although being first revealed in November 2020, Shenhe doesn’t have a locked-in release date in Genshin Impact.
One leaker has suggested a release date of patch 2.4 — the same as Itto — so keep an eye out in early 2022.
While Shenhe was originally datamined in Genshin Impact, almost all traces of her have been removed from the in-game code.

Shenhe was originally data-mined to be a Cryo character, however since most of the references to her disappear in the game’s code, it is likely that she is altered entirely or that she does not come at all.

In recent stories, we know her as the crane Adepti, Cloud Retainer.
Her name, Shen He, also means God of Crane.
