Recent Genshin Impact leaks reveals the in-game model of a Geo cat girl, suggest that she will be a new Inazuman character added to the game.
Genshin Impact leaks suggest that the new character is an Inazuman Geo cat girl
According to a Genshin Impact leak, HoYoverse may be planning to add a Geo cat girl named Momoka from Inazuma. At this point, there are only three other members of the cat-like Kätzlein bloodline in the game, and they all live in Mondstadt. If this information is correct, it will be interesting to see if there are any connections between Diona’s family and the Inazuman newcomer.
A leak also shows a few different angles of the Geo catgirl’s in-game model. Her design and color scheme are very similar to the character description provided by SYP. According to the most recent Genshin Impact leaks, the card icon shown below is merely a mockup, but everything else should be correct.
While no gameplay footage of Momoka has been released, leaker Mero has revealed that the Geo cat girl wields a Sword and is primarily a shielder. Her Elemental Skill has press-and-hold variations, but little else is known about her equipment.

In a related vein, some old leaks suggested that this character might be added to Wanderlust Invocation. There have been no new developments on whether this has been confirmed. There are currently no Geo or Inazuman characters on that banner, so if Momoka is added to Wanderlust Invocation, she will be the first in both categories.

According to many leaks, Momoka will be released sometime in Genshin Impact 3.7. However, it’s unclear whether Momoka will be playable in the first or second half of the version. Estimates for her release date include the following:
- If she will be released in the first half: ~May 24, 2023
- If she will be released in the second half: ~June 14, 2023
The above dates are estimates based on the current 42-day cycle for version updates and the average lifespan of banners of 21 days. HoYoverse has yet to reveal any details about Genshin Impact 3.7.
