Red Bull Contested: Fortnite 2023 – Format
When it comes to their exclusive events, Red Bull likes to break the rules, and Contested will do the same with a slightly modified version of the standard battle royale experience.
Red Bull Contested will, first and foremost, be a 100-player Solo LAN in which building will be enabled. The solo format will consist of eight rounds of play, but aggression will be rewarded in the final stages of the competition.
The final four rounds will have double points for eliminations, making kills far more valuable than final placements. The player with the most points at the end of the eighth round will be crowned champion.
Red Bull Contested: Fortnite 2023 – Location
Red Bull is bringing the game Fortnite to the UK. As a pioneer in UK esports, they have recently started events in London and Manchester. This time, though, we’re going further north.
Gather your kilts and bagpipes, because Red Bull Contested: Fortnite is coming to Edinburgh. The event will take place at Edinburgh’s iconic McEwan Hall, where 100 players will drop in front of a live audience of up to 1,100 fans.
Red Bull Contested: Fortnite 2023 – Tickets
Fans will be able to watch 100 of their favorite players parachute down and compete for their favorite spots at McEwan Hall. Tickets will be available for purchase to the general public on April 10 at redbull.co.uk/contested (the page will not be live until April 10).
Red Bull Contested: Fortnite 2023 – Players
Players from all over Europe who play Fortnite will have a chance to qualify for the event through Wild Card spots, but the vast majority of players will be invited by Red Bull.

The open qualifiers will take place on May 20 and 21, with no word on how many spots will be available.
