Otomate has announced the upcoming release dates for four Otome games for the Switch, one of which is an original story rather than a sequel.

- Wand of Fortune R2 FD: Epilogue For You – September 14, 2023
The first of Otomate’s new Switch otome games is 9 R.I.P. 9 R.I.P. is about a heroine who is worried about her future after high school. She lives in a neighborhood known for mysterious disappearances, and her problems set off a chain of bizarre events.
Cupid Parasite: Sweet & Spicy Darling is a sequel to Cupid Parasite released in 2021 that continues the story of Parasite6. This time, they’re holding a bachelor party despite the fact that none of them are getting married.
Spade no Kuni no Alice ~Wonderful Black World~. Wonderful Black World is the second part of Wonderful White World. This is the eighth installment in the Heart no Kuni no Alice series.
Wand of Fortune R2 FD: Epilogue For You is the last game to receive an announcement from Otomate. The story picks up where Wand of Fortune R left off, focusing on Lulu’s alternate timelines both in the past and the future.

Aside from the main plot, one of the overall goals is to develop a romantic relationship between the heroine and one of several male characters, or sometimes three female characters. This genre is very popular in Japan, where it is primarily used to create visual novels and simulation games (particularly dating simulations). Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom for PSP and 3DS is the representative otome game title that has been ported to English as of 2013.
