The release date and time countdown for when The Sims 4 High School Years expansion pack DLC will come out is 10:00 PT, 13:00 ET, and 18:00 BST on July 28th.

All of the above hours come via Origin and the PSN store. Of course, in addition to Origin and PlayStation, you will also be able to play on Steam and Xbox.

The Sims 4 High School Years patch notes Jul 2022

This new update introduces a host of gameplay features and the long-awaited addition of body hair. With this, players can more easily role-play as teenagers become adults.

Besides the usual bug fixes, The Sims 4 team have included new gameplay and cosmetic features to the base game for free. This means you will only need a copy of the base game and no other expansions to be able to grab these new features for yourself. The new additions are:

  • Sexual Orientation
  • Wants and Fears gameplay
  • Curved Walls
  • Phone Update
  • Body Hair
