How to install Autofish Mod 1.17.1/1.16.5 (Recaster, MultiRod)
Follows 5 Steps bellow to install Autofish Mod on Windows and Mac :
1. You need ready installed Minecraft Forge.
2. Download a Forge compatible mod from url download, or anywhere else!
3. Open Minecraft, click ->> ‘Mods’ button on the main menu, click – >> ‘Open Mods Folder’.Important: Some older versions of Forge may not have the ‘Open Mods Folder’ button. If that is the case, you need to find the folder manually. Windows:
- Press the Windows key and R at the same time
- Type %appdata% and press enter
- Find the Minecraft folder and then look for the Mods folder within that
Mac:
- Click on the desktop and then press Command+Shift+G all at the same time
- Type ~/Library and press enter
- Open the folder Application Support and then Minecraft
4. Place the mod file downloaded (.jar or .zip) into the Mods folder.
5. Relaunch Minecraft, and you should now see the new mod installed in the list!

Autofish Mod is probably the most accurate among all automatic fishing mods for Minecraft Forge.
It is fully client-sided and works on vanilla servers

How to use:
- Configurable key (V by default) to open a GUI for changing individual settings.
- Very simple to use, just cast the fishing rod into the water once, and it will automatically reel in at the correct time and recast after a couple second wait.
- Enable Autofish: Toggles the entire mod on or off.
- Enable MultiRod: After using up a rod, it will try to auto switch to the next one in your hotbar if it exists, so you can fish for extended periods of time with multiple rods. (Switches to the first rod in your hotbar after each reel)
- Stop fishing before rods break: Ignores fishing rods once they are almost broken. This is useful if you have an enchanted fishing rod and you don’t want it to break.
