ffDiaporama is a free software for Windows and Linux (packages available for multiple Linux distributions), which allows converting photos into videos and editing video files. It can detect images and video files from many formats, as well as from a large number of camera and camcorder models. ffDiaporama has around 140 built-in transition effects. What’s more is that ffDiaporama provides an advanced device database for generating videos that are compatible with more than 50 different models of video viewing devices, such as, smart phones, tablets and home cinema systems. With ffDiaporama you can edit and create videos from home videos and your memorable photos with a professional touch. The created videos can be rendered to provide playback on an iPhone, Android, Symbian and other smartphone devices, media players, and can also be uploaded to website like YouTube.
To get started, just add image and video files, titles, projects, etc from the Project tab.
The frames can be edited just like Windows Live Movie Maker or any other common editing program. After you have edited the frames in a required format, go to the Render Video tab, and choose a conversion format. The available formats include the following:

Once you have selected your required presets, click OK to initiate the video rendering process.
The below image demonstrates a video created by still image files. You can either use only images or videos or mix image and video files to create a video that suits your artistic needs.
