The widely used CCleaner software for Windows is now available for Mac users. It contains all the required system tools for cleaning and optimizing your Mac, including options to remove junk files from Temporary Folder, Recent Documents, Recent Applications, Recent Servers, Safari, Mozilla Firefox and much more.
Just launch CCleaner, select files to clean from the available options and click Analyze to check the amount of clutter you can free up. After that, click Clean button to remove the junk data.
Since CCleaner is currently in it’s beta stage, therefore, it has limited functionality. For now it contains the following features:
Junk File Removal
Uninstall feature
The beta five version has included improved speed of Safari and QuickTime cleaning. CCleaner for Mac works with:
- Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
- Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
- Mac OS X 10.7 Lion
