At&t just launched a commercial in response to the recentVerizon i-Phone hype. Not to mention that Verizon’s i-Phone broke their all time sales records in just 2 hours of its release. Now At&t has responded to the Verizon commercial and is banking on its massive services (as compared to Verizon’s more reliable coverage). See the commercial below which is more like a punch from At&t to Verizon. Lets see who gets the final knock out.
There are a few difference between Verizon and AT&T’s iPhone hardware and features. This is due to the fact that they both run different types of networks. Verizon uses CDMA and AT&T has a GSM network. Some other differences are listed below:
- You cannot talk and use the internet simultaneously using Verizon iPhone. This is because Verizon’s CDMA based network only allows one of these tasks. At&t takes the cake here, since you can do both with an At&t iPhone.
- Webpages on a Verizon iPhone load “arguably faster” than At&t.
- The Verizon iPhone acts as a mobile hotspot.
- Volume and mute buttons are located slightly lower on the Verizon iPhone.
