Problem : Group policy error with SCCM

Problem : Group policy error with SCCM

This seems really strange to me and I have been unable to put a finger on getting this corrected.  On a few systems, I am receiving the following error in the WUAHandler.log file and I am unable to scan and report on updates on these systems.  As you see in the error, it shows that the settings for WUA from SCCM are being overwritten by a higher authority.  The error specifically shows that the setting is set to “Not Configured” meaning that the group policy for this setting is not configured for these settings.

I have servers part of this same domain and in the same OU’s that function just fine.  The defualt domain policy (only policy set for these) has all WUA settings set to Not Configured.  I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the client to no avail.  I am not sure what other steps might help.

Solution: Group policy error with SCCM

If you run gpresult or rsop from the server affected, is it correctly downloading the group policy from AD?
