Problem : “Before you can perform print-related tasks… you need to install a printer” error

I’m using Win Xp Pro SP2 at work with Adobe Acrobat 7 Pro (updated to 7.0.3)
Everything works, and another system has the same program which works perfectly, but mine does not print. Instead, I get a pop up message: “Before you can perform print-related tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer”
Is it kidding? I work in a Print Shop!?!? I have a Canon 900 Colour Printer, a Canon 3200 Colour Printer, and an Image Runner 105 (as well as a Digital Plate Maker) all networked together without a problem.
Can someone PLEASE help me figure this out? I have uninstalled / reinstalled, checked printers for “Adobe PDF” printer (which is there, shared and active), checked preferences and allowed it to reboot to make new preferences, still nothing. I need help urgently!!
