For example, you can go to the Print section in MS Word, MS Excel, Word Pad, Open Office or Libre Office applications, etc and choose CutePDF option to instantly convert the document to PDF format. Once CutePDF is installed it merges with all programs which can print a document. Go to the printer options from an application (for example, MS Word, MS Excel, etc).
Select CutePDF as the printer (the document will not be printed) and click OK.
This will convert your document to PDF format (instead of printing it). Just select a destination folder for the newly created document.
