Edit Windows Run Dialog Box History With WindowsRunHistoryEditor

Run commands (from the Run dialog box in Windows start menu) are used to directly open an application or document whose path is known. The Run command is accessible through the Windows Start menu and also through the shortcut key Win+R. It is also available in other operating system such as Gnome based operating systems like Ubuntu,in which it is accessed from ALT+F2.

WindowsRunHistoryEditor is a portable list editor for the Windows Run Dialog box. It enables editing 26 entries for entering the most widely used Run commands and network paths for the convenience of instantly launching programs and/or accessing systems. It also provides additional options for clearing the Run dialog box list and reloading the previous settings in case of an error.

To use “Windows Run History Editor” , launch the EXE file and enter your desired fields. In case of an error, you can hit Reload button to revert to the old settings. Once the fields are edited, click Save. You can also switch between English and German interface from the Language drop down menu. Since this is an open source application, therefore, we might see more language options soon by the same or a third-party developer.
