Problem : Can’t save my game on GTA 3
Hi
I have made a backup of my GTA3 cds
But when I go to my hide out to save.
I get an error message saying: Save unsuccessful.
I friend said that I should download the patch and i did.
But it still doesn’t work.
Pleas help me.

There are two kinds of GTA patches
The official ones from Rockstar which fix bugs in the game and the unofficial patches which allow you to run “trainers” and run the game without the CD in the drive. If you’re playing without a CD in the drive you have a crack.
There are also two types of solution
The official one which is to send your disk to Rockstar & they will probably replace it for around $10 with an unscratched version (check with their support 1st). and the unofficial one which is to try a different site for your patch. But as this could be seen as breaching the games copyright (for people who don’t have the original disk) I don’t think you will be able to get help with this through EE as it breaks the membership rules.
