Problem: DFSR Error: Access Denied to System Volume Information\DFSR
I’ve just recently installed R2 on 4 servers in our organization to setup DFSR. 1 server to collect the data and the other 3 to send it. 2 of the server are working just fine, but 1 is not. After I setup this server to start replicating to the collection server I started seeing errors in the event log that said:
The DFS Replication service failed to recover from an internal database error on volume E:. Replication has been stopped for all replicated folders on this volume.
Additional Information:
Error: 9201 (Access was denied to the database (-1032))
Volume: D360F849-7F18-11DC-8131-00
Database: E:\System Volume Information\DFSR
I’ve checked the permissions on that folder and they are the same on the other servers. Has anyone run into this problem before and know how to fix it?

Well about 5 mintues after posting this question I figured it out. It appears somehow the SYSTEM group got removed from the security of the root of the drive. Once I added that back everything started working.
