The Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool allows you to create a bootable copy of your Windows 7 on a USB or DVD. To create a bootable DVD or USB drive, download the windows 7 ISO and install Windows 7 directly from the USB flash drive or DVD by following the procedure given below. Since this is a Microsoft tool, therefore, it is most suited and quite reliable for making bootable USBs or even DVDs. I personally use this tool myself, each time I need to install Windows 7.

To get started, launch Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool and select an ISO image from the Browse button. Click Next to continue.
After that, select USB Device or DVD option (as required).
In the next step, select a USB drive or DVD (as selected in the previous step)and click on Begin Copying.
This will make a bootable USB / DVD for you, which can be used for installing Windows 7.
Once the process is complete, you will see a message that the device was created successfully. This way you can create multiple USBs and DVDs for installing Window 7.
