Soda 3D PDF Reader is a free PDF manipulation software, which allows you to open, view and create PDF documents. It supports converting files to PDF format from more than 300 file types, including MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint formats. Furthermore, it provides a sleek and stylish interface, which enables flipping through e-book pages like a real book. This functionality is also present in another PDF reader known as Flipping PDF Reader, however, Soda 3D PDF reader provides many more additional options and has smoother functionality. Soda PDF 3D Reader is compatible with all PDF files, created with any kind of application.
Once installed, you can open any PDF document within Soda 3D PDF Reader either by associating PDF files to open with it (by making it the default PDF reader) or by launching it separately and opening files using File –> Open. All recently opened books are displayed on the left sidebar, from where you can instantly open a PDF document in a click. If you are viewing PDF files in the 3D view, then you can flip through pages via a simple mouse hover.
Note: One thing you might want to bear in mind is that in order to use the free version, make sure that you register for your free product within 7 days after installation and enter the product key (which will be sent to you via email).
You can change the viewing options from the View tab. For example, you can switch the PDF document view to Single, Continuous, facing (horizontally split pages in two parts), Facing Continuous (horizontally split pages in four parts), 3D, Full screen, as well as adjust the page to fix document width. Other options within the View tab provide verbose zoom, copy to clipboard, snapshot and other functionalities.
You can instantly create a PDF document out of an MS Office program file (such as DOC, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, etc) by selecting the program’s name from the Create PDF tab. For other document types, select “Create from any file” option.
