MacroTube is a media center plugin which allows watching YouTube, DailyMotion and Soapbox videos within Windows Media Center. This means you can enjoy videos from these websites on a Media Center TV. MacroTube retains all functionalities supported by video streaming websites like YouTube. You can search and stream videos, sort them by rating, category (entertainment, comedy, education, etc), date and relevance.
After installation, go to Extras in Windows Media Center to access MacroTube.
Then select and launch MacroTube from the list of available Extras.
From here, you can select a video streaming website to watch videos, including, YouTube, DailyMotion or Soapbox.
You can sort videos by category, rating, date, relevance or perform your custom search.
The search result is displayed with horizontally aligned thumbnail images. You can access more videos by sliding the cursor across (horizontally) and clicking at the end of the last video from the visible list.
Just click on any video from the search result to start streaming it.
