HoYoverse has revealed the newest character skins arriving in Genshin Impact Version 4.8, bringing a touch of fantastical flair to two popular characters: Nilou and Kirara.

Following the trend of previous updates, HoYoverse is adding more character customization options to the action RPG. Just ahead of Version 4.8’s launch, the developer has showcased the upcoming “Teyvat Style” skins titled “Simulanka’s Blessings.”
Nilou’s Royal Elegance
Nilou’s outfit, “Breeze of Sabaa,” offers a fresh take on her signature blue attire. This princess-inspired look features additional ruffles and embellishments, along with a stunning purple Sumeru Rose adorning her waist. She also trades her horns for a graceful golden laurel crown.
As a 5-star character, Nilou’s skin will be purchasable directly from the in-game store. During Version 4.8, players can obtain it at a discounted price of 1,350 Genesis Crystals. After the update concludes, the price will increase to 1,680 Genesis Crystals.
Kirara’s Feline Transformation
Kirara’s “Phantom in Boots” outfit ditches her schoolgirl look for a more adventurous, rogue-like aesthetic. This playful design features thigh-high leg wraps resembling boots, reminiscent of Puss in Boots. Two tails complete the picture, while a cool hat with a bow adds a touch of feline charm.
To unlock Kirara and her Phantom in Boots outfit, players must collect 125 Excerpts of Bliss by participating in the event’s challenges. Here’s a breakdown of the process:
- Explore the Simulanka map to collect Jubilant Feathers.
- Exchange Jubilant Feathers for Excerpts of Bliss, which also yield rewards like Primogems.
- Upon collecting 75 Excerpts of Bliss, unlock the “Jocund Letters” item, which acts as a treasure compass.
- Use the Jocund Letters to find chests containing 1 Excerpt of Bliss each and treasure maps yielding 3 Excerpts of Bliss each.
- Collect a total of 125 Excerpts of Bliss to unlock Kirara’s “Phantom in Boots” outfit.
By diligently completing these steps, you’ll not only unlock Kirara but also acquire her stylish new outfit.
For players who miss the event, the skin will be available for purchase in the store for 1,680 Genesis Crystals after Version 4.8 concludes.
