- Utilize upward boosts to avoid certain attacks, like the Pulse Wave Barrage. However, avoid staying airborne for extended periods as attacks can still target you and drain your energy (EN).
- Remain mobile on the ground and be prepared to dash in the opposite direction when powerful attacks are aimed at you.
- During phase one, be wary of the Laser Blast attack. Anticipate it through audio and visual cues, and quickly dash in the opposite direction to avoid being hit. These lasers cause significant damage and can stagger your AC (Armored Core).
- The key to defeating Arquebus Balteus is to stagger it as quickly as possible, allowing for a burst of damage. Take advantage of moments when it pauses to shoot lasers or turns around after passing by. Equip weapons that deal high burst damage, such as VE-60SNA STUN NEEDLES, laser rifles, or rocket launchers.
