Armored Core 6 leaked key art and rating reveal the game’s release date

Armored Core 6 leaked key art

Little is known about Armored Core 6 since the reveal trailer, but recently leaked key art and game ratings have shed some light on the game.

Armored Core 6’s rating & possible release date

The Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee has released its decision on the game’s rating. While the description is brief, we do know that Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is intended for players aged 12 and up, due to references to violence.

Armored Core VI is expected to be released in the fall of 2023, likely in October. This is because the average time between a game’s rating and its release is around six months. If this is true, FromSoftware will undoubtedly reveal more about the game soon, perhaps at Summer Game Fest 2023.

Armored Core 6 leaked key art

The first leak was discovered by Reddit user Eliwats17, who shared an image of what appears to be official Armored Core VI key art. The user claimed to have used the “Xbox pre-install trick” to obtain the image, which another Redditor was able to replicate. These users can apparently pre-install the game ahead of its release, but they cannot play it.

Although the image appears to be official, FromSoftware has not confirmed any details about the alleged key art.

According to OkamiGames on Twitter, the apparent install for Armored Core VI mentioned above is for version 2.1.0.1, which is unusual given that the game isn’t yet available. Typically, games are released as version 1.00, so it’s unclear whether the version in the image is an error or not.

That’s all we know for the time being about Armored Core 6.
