How to Identify Combat Log Holders

In Armored Core 6, enemies carrying Combat Logs can be identified a few ways:

• A small Log emblem will appear in the targeting reticle when they are scanned.
• Checking the mission details in Replay Mode will mark any that still need to be obtained.
• Higher level enemies like bosses and unique enemy variants nearly always hold Logs.

It pays to thoroughly scan all opponents encountered in levels. Not all Log holders are obvious, so diligence is key.

Armored Core 6 Combat Log Locations

Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of combat log locations across different chapters in Armored Core 6:

Chapter 1 Logs

• Mission 4 Destroy Transport Helicopters:
  • The Tetrapod enemy located at the end of the mission that Walter tells you to ignore carries a Silver ranked combat log.
• Mission 5 Destroy the Tester AC:
  • The main target of this mission is the Tester AC, which carries a Silver ranked combat log.
• Mission 6 Attack the Dam Complex:
  • Between the second and third objectives, there is a Tetrapod enemy to the right on the frozen lake that carries a Silver ranked combat log.
  • The AC that ambushes you at the very end of the mission carries a Gold ranked combat log. You must destroy it before completing the final objective.
• Mission 8 Climb the Wall:
  • Head towards the tall wall, then go left to the outskirts of the city. There you will find 3 low-level enemies marked with the combat log symbol, each carrying Bronze ranked logs.
• Mission 9 Retrieve Combat Logs:
  • At the end of this mission you are ambushed by an AC. Defeat it before time runs out to acquire its Gold ranked combat log.
• Mission 11 Attack the Watchpoint:
  • One of the main objectives is an AC piloted by Sulla which carries a Gold ranked combat log.

Chapter 2 Logs

• Mission 12 Infiltrate Grid 086:
  • The main objective AC Invincible Rummy holds a Silver ranked log.
  • After defeating Rummy, head through the doors and go directly up to the area above. There are two Tetrapods here, each with Silver ranked logs.
  • Follow the rail line near the Tetrapods away from your objective, and on the next left are two MTs with Bronze logs.
  • In the furnace room, enter the pipe to the right of the molten metal. Follow it down to find a secret room ambush by an AC carrying a Gold log.
  • After exiting the furnace room, there are 3 MTs on the right side of the structure ahead. Each has a Bronze log.
• Mission 14 Ocean Crossing:
  • After the vertical lasers, go right to the platform’s end. Drop down to the bridge, then turn around to find two flying drones with Bronze logs. Drop down further to find two more.

Chapter 3 Logs

• Mission 15 Steal the Survey Data:
  • Between the 2nd and 3rd furthest data logs is a Tetrapod enemy carrying a Silver ranked combat log.
• Mission 16 Attack the Refueling Base:
  • Under the bridge used to cross the valley, defeat the enemy firing lasers at you for a Bronze ranked log.
  • On the two thinner bridges, defeat the enemy on the further bridge also firing lasers for another Bronze log.
• Mission 17 Eliminate V.VII:
  • Facing the tall buildings, go left to find a Tetrapod on ground level carrying a Silver log.
  • The main target V.VII Swinburne drops a Gold ranked log upon defeat.
  • If you accept Swinburne’s deal mid-fight, defeating the other AC Rokumonsen gets you another Gold log.
• Mission 18 Tunnel Sabotage:
  • When notified the PCA are returning, go left into a room with enemies. Defeat the laser firing one for a Bronze ranked log.
• Mission 19 Survey the Uninhabited Floating City:
  • After the second fog device, keep going straight to spot a large eye turret at ground level. It carries a Silver ranked log.
• Mission 23 Attack the Old Spaceport:
  • From the start, go right to the higher area left of the hangar. Outside it is a shielded enemy with a Silver log.
  • On the opposite fuel storage side are two LCs among the tanks, both carrying Silver logs.
• Mission 24 Eliminate Honest Brute:
  • At the laser platform, drop down and head central to find two rolling enemies, one on the right holds a Bronze log.
  • The next platform has more rolling enemies around a pillar, two of which have Bronze logs.
  • The large turntable platform has an armored Tetrapod with a Silver log.
  • On the last platform, go through the shield and defeat the rolling robot behind it to lower the shield and get its Bronze log.
  • The main target Honest Brute drops a Platinum ranked log.
• Mission 25 Defend the Old Spaceport:

Chapter 4 Logs

• Mission 29 Underground Exploration – Depth 2:
  • The main target G5 Iguazu drops a Gold ranked combat log when defeated.
  • When entering the room where blue lasers shoot at you, take a right into the side room and defeat the enemies within to acquire a Bronze ranked log.
• Mission 30 Underground Exploration – Depth 3:
  • Get on the roof where the blue lasers originate to find and defeat enemies that hold Silver ranked logs.
  • The main target Ayre drops a Gold ranked log upon defeat.
• Mission 31 Intercept the Redguns:
  • Defeating the main target G1 Michigan nets you a Platinum ranked log, but cancels out Mission 32.
• Mission 32 Ambush the Vespers:
  • The two main targets DUAL NATURE and RECONFIG each drop Gold ranked logs when defeated, but cancels out Mission 31.
• Mission 33 Unknown Territory Survey:
  • The main target V.IV Rusty drops a Platinum ranked log.
