You can either align with the Goblins and eliminate all Tieflings and Druids, or you can side with the Tieflings and exterminate the Goblins. If you choose the latter, you must confront Minthara, a Goblin supporter and one of the leaders in the camp, and engage in combat with her.
However, if you opt to side with the Goblins and spare Minthara, intriguing possibilities unfold. Your choice to spare her life earns her approval and even opens the door to romance. If you successfully navigate this budding relationship, she will be at your bedside with a knife while you sleep, presenting you with a critical decision.
You have two options during this encounter:
- Convince her of your loyalty to the Absolute, leading to her sparing your life.
- Turn hostile and engage her in combat, which could ultimately result in her demise.
If you choose to spare Minthara during both encounters in BG3, you will have the opportunity to add her to your party in the next act. However, failing to do so will permanently lock out this option, concluding the first Baldur’s Gate 3 Minthara Ending.
2. Add Minthara to Your Party in Act 2 Ending
Assuming Minthara has survived your previous encounters, you will encounter her once more in Act 2, specifically during your visit to the Moonrise Towers. In this instance, she is being held captive and subjected to torture. To add Minthara to your party, you can take one of the following approaches:
- Employ brute force by attacking her captors and freeing her.
- Utilize your intimidation skills to persuade her captors to release her.
