A Closer Look at Tank Changes

Surprisingly, the early PTR for patch 10.2 has revealed no significant changes for tanks. While this may be seen as a positive sign, it also means that the tank classes have not received any major adjustments. Currently, all tank classes seem to fit their designated niches without any glaring weaknesses or imbalances in their kits.

However, it is highly likely that Blizzard will make some adjustments to tanks before the official release of 10.2. Players can expect to see minor buffs for all tank classes, ensuring that each spec receives some attention. Although there are no specific details to share regarding these changes, it is anticipated that they will be relatively small in scale.

Unless we witness substantial changes before the release of 10.2, it appears that you can confidently prepare for the new patch with any tank class you prefer.  And hey, if you’re feeling adventurous, consider jumping into LFR (Looking for Raid) to practice your tanking skills – we’re sure it’ll be a rewarding experience.

As we eagerly await further developments on the PTR and the official release of patch 10.2, the tanking community remains hopeful for measured and balanced changes that will keep the diverse tanking landscape intact. Stay tuned for more updates on the evolving world of tanking in Dragonflight.
