The Season of the Witch is in full swing, and Guardians all over the world are scrambling to find Opaque Cards. These enigmatic cards are the key to building a powerful Deck of Whispers, which can grant Guardians a variety of advantages in battle. But where can you find these elusive cards?
How to Find All Opaque Cards in Destiny 2
There are a total of 55 Opaque Cards scattered throughout Destiny 2, obtainable through various Season of The Witch missions. Most of these cards can be acquired by completing the Savathun’s Spire and Altars of Summoning seasonal missions. However, a few cards are hidden in unexpected spots, so let’s track them down before Season 23 begins.
Altars of Summoning
Solar Attunement
Starting from the Altar of Flesh, go right until you reach a sealed door. To the right of this door is the first Solar card.
Void Attunement
Near the beginning at the Altar of Flesh, head right and cross the bridge to a fallen building. At the end, you’ll find an Opaque Card.
Arc Attunement
In the area called the Altar of Devotion, search for a waterfall, and a hidden secret is behind it— an Arc Opaque Card
Bonus Cards
- Card #1: An unattuned card can be found starting again from the Altar of Flesh. Do a 180-degree turn and head back towards the green cave where you fought the summons. In a small cave, you’ll locate the unattuned Opaque card.
- Card #2: The final Opaque Card in Destiny 2 can be found in the central area of the Altars of Summoning. Here, shoot the statue to receive another card.
Athenaeum Hidden Card
Through the Hive Portal in the H.E.L.M., proceed straight ahead and go through the large building with columns. On the opposite side, you will find a tree formation. Search behind the formation to discover a hidden Opaque Card.
Ritual Table
As you progress through the ranks on the Ritual Table by accumulating seasonal XP, you’ll unlock four more secret hidden cards. This should help you complete your full Deck of Whispers before Season of The Witch concludes.
Savathun’s Spire
Void Attunement
- Card #1: After the first encounter, as you ascend the elevator, turn 180 degrees and spot the first Opaque Card behind a small wall at the back of the room.
- Card #2: In the section with four portals, jump behind the section displaying the runes to find the second Void Opaque Card.
Solar Attunement
- Card #1: On the right of the room with the enormous central pillar and swinging pendulum
- Card #2: During the labyrinth section, go through the door to the left of the rune table. Turn around, and on the ledge through the door, you’ll find the second Solar Opaque Card.
Arc Attunement
- Card #1: In the room with the spinning spiked log, head left after the platforming area to find the first Arc Opaque Card.
- Card #2: In the first labyrinth room, go through the door to the left of the rune table. Navigate the swinging pendulum platforms and take the doors on your right. Ascend the first elevator directly ahead to locate the second Arc Opaque Card.
Bonus Card
In the room with spinning pillars and a swinging pendulum, head through and make your way out to the platforms on the right. Facing away from the room you just passed through, jump forward towards a gap in the far wall to locate the bonus card.
