Sony’s PlayStation Blog post for August 2022 confirms that : PlayStation Plus games September 2022 release date is September 6th.

Sony will reveal the free Essential Tier PS Plus games for September 2022 on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 8:30am PDT / 11:30am EDT / 4:30 BST.

The free games set to be on offer this month are:

• Toem (PS5)
• Need for Speed Heat |PS4
• Granblue Fantasy: Versus (PS4)

Sony will make it official at 4.30pm BST later today (August 31), while the games will be available to download on September 6.

One of the September 2022 free PS Plus games coming out of Extra and Premium is Red Dead Redemption 2.

According to countdownplus, Red Dead Redemption 2 is scheduled to come out on the 20th. This is a month because Red Dead Redemption 1 and Undead Nightmare leave on October 17th.
