The Hyrule Castle Moat East Chasm poses a greater challenge to locate. Follow these steps:

  1. Begin from the Sepapa Shrine, located at the coordinates 0222, 1087, 0028.
  2. Head southeast from the shrine until you reach the coordinates 0101, 0882, 0037, which indicate the edge of a cliff.
  3. Jump off the cliff and glide with Link’s glider while observing the side of the cliff.
  4. Spot a narrow opening above the waterline, serving as the entrance to the Hyrule Castle Moat East Chasm.

Upon entering the Depths through this chasm, you’ll encounter the Apapes Lightroot at the coordinates 0221, 1084, -0474. Interact with the lightroot to dispel the darkness and continue your exploration. Beware of the Blue-White Frox near the chasm exit.

Hyrule Castle Moat West Chasm

Located on the western side of Hyrule Castle, the Hyrule Castle Moat West Chasm is similar to its eastern counterpart. To find this chasm:

  1. Access the separate island through the Moat Bridge, south of the Castle Town Prison.
  2. Use Lookout Landing Skyview Tower to launch yourself northwest until you reach the coordinates -0891, 0659, 0017, which mark the entrance of the cave.
  3. Journey through the cave, hidden by trees near the riverbank.
  4. The Hyrule Castle Moat West Chasm awaits at the coordinates –0923, 0668, -0009. Alternatively, use the Ishodag Shrine as a checkpoint, travel north past the water, and follow the mentioned coordinates to reach the chasm.

Within the chasm, expect a somewhat dark environment. Bring Brightbloom Seeds for illumination. The nearest lightroot, Gadoshi Lightroot, is across the water at the base of the Ishadog shrine. Nearby, you may encounter a Frox and discover opportunities to engage with Poe at Bargainer Statues or even face a Stalnox in Gustaf Canyon.
