Problem: MAXIMO Error – Could not connect as PSDIPUB

We are using MAXIMO 4.1 with SQL server 2000. We restored our database due to some server issue. Now Maximo is working in server only. When I log in to users system, I am receiving Could not connect as PSDIPUB. Please contact your Maximo System Administrator

Solution: MAXIMO Error – Could not connect as PSDIPUB

Verify that SQL Server service is running
Verify that a reference to the SQL Server client is in the path of workstation (e.g. C:MSSQL#Binn)
Verify that MAXIMO is the dbo
Comment out odbctracefile parameter in sql.ini file
