Warzone 2 Shadow Siege Event

The Shadow Siege limited time event has arrived in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, coinciding with the reveal of 2023’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This guide breaks down the Shadow Siege event and its challenges.

What is the Shadow Siege Event?

Shadow Siege is a time-limited event designed to accompany the Reveal Event for Modern Warfare 3, sharing its name with a new game mode in Warzone 2. The event includes six distinct challenges, each offering unique rewards. These challenges vary in complexity, ranging from participating in the Shadow Siege mode to undertaking additional tasks for bonus rewards.

Challenges of the Shadow Siege Event and How to Complete Them:

  • Assist in killing 5 Commanders: Deal damage to Commander enemies, including Attack Helicopters, Juggernauts, and Wheelsons, then ensure they are defeated. Repeat this five times to accomplish the challenge.
  • Blow up the Observatory: After securing all eight missile sites, they will launch towards Zaya Observatory, resulting in its destruction.
  • Deliver 5 Gas Canisters as a squad in a single deployment: Extract 45 Gas Canisters as a squad, delivering 5 of them in a single deployment to complete this challenge.
  • Exfil with a Mission Success: Collect 45 Gas Canisters and head to one of the Exfil Helicopters to leave Al Mazrah. Being on the helicopter when it departs completes this challenge.
  • Intercept 5 radio transmissions: Enemies killed during the event might drop Burner Phones, resembling UAV drops. Collecting these will “intercept a radio transmission.” Complete this task five times.
  • Secure a missile launcher: Head to one of the eight missile launchers and gain control over it. Interact with the terminal connected to a cargo missile. Defend the site against Konni forces until the progress bar is filled to secure the location.
