Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 OG: Map Changes
Season 5: Changing the Landscape
Tilted Towers, a legendary point of interest from Chapter 1: Season 2, is back and will remain until the Season 9 update of Season OG. Additionally, classic vehicles like All Terrain Karts, the Assault Rifle, Pump Shotgun, and other iconic items like the Damage Trap, Grappler, and Boogie Bomb make their return.
Season 6: Embracing the Darkness
The v27.00 update on November 9 brings darkness to Loot Lake and reintroduces weapons from Chapter 1: Season 6, including the Double Barrel Shotgun, Clinger, and Six Shooter. Vehicles like the Quadcrasher and Mounted Turret return, as well as items like the Chiller Trap and Port-a-Fortress. Plus, players can now enjoy the Driftboard.
Seasons 7 and 8: From Snow Biomes to Pirate Camps
Starting from November 16 with update v27.10, players will encounter content from Chapter 1: Season 7 and Season 8. Expect a snowy biome, Frosty Flights, pirate camps, swashbuckling gear, and classic weapons like the Flint-Knock Pistol, Minigun, and Quad Launcher. Notable items include the Poison Dart Trap, Itemized Glider Redeploy, and Buried Treasure. On the vehicle front, the X-4 Stormwing and Pirate Cannon are back in action.
Season 9 and X: A Trip Down Memory Lane
On November 23, update v27.11 will celebrate Chapter 1: Season 9 and Season X. Players can look forward to new weapons like the Heavy Sniper Rifle, Proximity Grenade Launcher, Air Strike, and Junk Rift. The update also introduces the Storm Flip, Jetpack, and The Baller.
OG Pass and Item Shop
To complement this time-traveling adventure, the OG Pass is packed with over 50 in-game items that players can unlock within just four weeks. The OG Pass is available for 950 V-Bucks, and players can earn up to 1000 V-Bucks while progressing through it. Fortnite Crew subscribers will receive the OG Pass as part of their subscription.
The OG Item Shop offers curated selections of classic, mashup, and new items, available for a limited time. New items will be added daily at 7 p.m. ET.
Ranked
Fortnite Chapter 4: Season OG also introduces a new ranked system. With the season being shorter than usual, rank progression will be faster at the higher and middle ranks to accommodate players. Being eliminated early in a match will result in lesser penalties, and rank progression will be slightly faster for players in the Bronze ranks.
Additionally, players will receive Ranked Urgent Quests when they jump off the Battle Bus, and completing these quests will unlock special in-game rewards. By completing just one Ranked Urgent Quest during Fortnite Chapter 4: Season OG, players will unlock the Chapter 1-inspired Ranker’s Tags Back Bling, which displays the color of their highest rank achieved.
