To finish this substory, you need to feed the wrestler a lot. It doesn’t matter much what kind of food you give him. He will eat vegetables from your garden (give him the best ones), bento boxes, or anything else you give him that he can eat.
The most difficult part is remembering to check in on a regular basis to keep things moving. The wrestler competes in a number of matches. You must find him and feed him between each one. When you first see him, he’s starving in the middle of the road. The location is along the side of South Teramachi Street, not quite due south from Don Quijote in Rakunai. You’ll see your chubby pal there several times.
It is in your best interests to stay on top of the substory. You must feed him several times before he will embark on an adventure. He’ll be standing near the barracks’ entrance a little later. Talk to him there to recruit him. He will join your squad, as represented by the Soranohara card.
